Choosing the right childcare and early learning program for your child is a big decision—and we believe it is one that should feel right for your family.

Every family is different, and every child is different. A program that is a wonderful fit for one family may not be the right fit for another, and that is okay. What matters most is finding a place where you feel comfortable, your child feels safe and supported, and the program’s approach, teachers, and environment align with what your family is looking for.

That is why we always recommend coming in for a tour before enrolling.

A tour is more than simply walking through our building. It is your opportunity to get to know Hilltop School, ask questions, and decide if we are the right fit for your family. In many ways, this is your chance to interview us.

When you visit, you will have the opportunity to:

• Sit down with our administrative team and ask questions about our program, policies, curriculum, daily routines, tuition, staffing, and anything else that is important to your family.
• Visit your child’s classroom and see the environment where they will spend their days.
• Meet the teachers who will be caring for and teaching your child.
• See our approach in action and get a feel for the relationships, routines, and atmosphere within our classrooms.
• Explore our outdoor spaces. We are fortunate to have three large, fully fenced-in play areas where children have ample opportunities to learn, grow, explore, move, and play outdoors.

We want you to leave your tour feeling informed and confident—not pressured. Choosing childcare is a significant decision, and you should have the opportunity to see the program, meet the people, ask questions, and determine whether Hilltop feels like the right place for your child.

Tours are available Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Interested in joining the Hilltop School family? Please visit the enrollment link below, complete the registration form, and pay the registration fee. Once those steps are completed, your child will be added to our waiting list.

We enroll throughout the year and openings can become available at different times as children transition to new classrooms, families' schedules change, or children leave our program. 

When an opening becomes available, we will contact families whose child is the appropriate age and whose requested schedule matches the available opening.

When an opening becomes available, we fill it in the following order:

1. Current Students Ready to Transition
Priority is given to children already enrolled at Hilltop who are ready to transition to the next classroom or program level.

2. Siblings of Current Families
We prioritize siblings of children already enrolled at Hilltop whenever possible, helping families keep their children within the same program.

3. Waiting List by Date
After current students and siblings, available openings are offered to families on our waiting list based on the date they joined. Families who joined earliest are contacted first. If a family declines an available opening or does not respond within a reasonable timeframe, we will move to the next family on the list.

Being on our waiting list means that you are in line to be considered when an appropriate opening becomes available. Because openings depend on children's ages, classroom transitions, enrollment changes, and the schedules families need, we cannot predict exactly when a particular opening will become available.

As soon as we have an opening that is a match for your child's age and your requested schedule, we will reach out to you.

We encourage families to join the waiting list even if you are planning ahead. We often have openings throughout the year, and joining early gives your family the best opportunity to be considered when an appropriate space becomes available.
